ouch

so friday night, we had a double header. i went up to spike a ball & had the worst pain in my abs! holy cow. i can't even describe it, but it must have been the stretching out to hit. i hope i didn't ruin any of my muscles. i can't believe i am saying this, but i almost kinda hope we don't go far in the playoffs, bc none of our girls show up. and i always have to play & i don't think at this point i should be playing. i'm too competitive and athletic. (haha- nothing like tooting your own horn) i just mean that i dive for balls, i like to jump & spike, i usually have to serve a ton in one rotation [which is a good thing], i go after anything that i can in my coverage area, and i just like playing my heart out.

so when i have to hold back from diving to save a ball, or stay planted to attack a ball over the net....i just don't feel like playing. haha. plus the other teams notice & are wondering why i'm not playing like i normally do. i've just been saying my back hurts really bad. [which btw is soooo true. it's killing me]

on another note: my legs are looking extra gross, so i did some lunges & squats the other day! OH BOY! i can't walk right, go down stairs, or even lower myself to the toilet without the pain. i love it! i gotta keep that up so my legs will look good again. it's amazing- i'll go to the gym and do the leg press machine at a ton of weight & feel NOTHING. i do 50 lunges & squats with NO weights & my legs are killing me for 3 days now.

i read this morning in my book that the baby actually has individual fingers & toes now! it moves a lot, too. the legs & arms don't look like little buds anymore, but more like limbs! very cool. yesterday, at greg & susie's wedding i was having some pain in my abdomen area. jimmy was freaking out, said he doesn't want to hear about it. then i read on yesterday's page: "you may be experiencing some pain bc your pelvis & uterus are expanding." whew! that's good to know, i guess.

2 more weeks until i get to see a new picture!!!!
