8.5 week ultrasound

it was kind of surreal. i don't feel pregnant, and i was hoping that after this visit, i would totally feel like it. but even after the doc reassured me that his job was to not let the baby fall on its head, i still didn't feel pregnant.

doesn't it look like the baby already has jimmy's nose?! oh god! his nose- my ears= ugliest baby ever!

i told him about how i don't feel preggers other than i am really tired, and nauseous if i don't eat. he did the ultrasound & said, "yup. you're definitely pregnant. there is a baby in there. and whoa! look at the heartbeat." jimmy said, "are you sure there is just one?" (kinda hoping for twins). yes! just one! thank the Lord! i'm looking at this picture right now & that head looks kinda big. there is NO way that is gonna come out. i hurt just thinking about it. haha.

so he said everything looks great & the fact that there is such a strong heartbeat right now is a great sign. :) this really is cool. haha. but i honestly do not feel like i thought i would, which is kinda weirding me out. but oh well, i will get over it.

maybe once i feel the baby move or have a baby bump, i'll feel knocked up.
