13 days....

Well, those 2 weeks sure went by fast.  Just as I knew they would.  The first night home was the toughest.  Ryder and I didn't sleep a wink.  Eh, I chose to breastfeed, so I have no one to blame.  lol  The rest of the nights could only get better and they did.

At this point, he goes to sleep around 11, gets up btwn 3-4, then gets up again at 8:30.  We can't complain about that.

BUT, the past couple of nights have been rough.  He doesn't want to go to bed, so poor Jimmy stays up with him until about 1.  Then I get up around 4 to feed him.  I'm up for an hour with that.

We decided that tonight is the night that he will attempt to sleep in his crib for the first time.  *fingers crossed* I wake up to any little sound that he makes, so this should give me a better 3 hour's sleep than the past 12 nights.

We've been super busy, and would really like to enjoy our last few days of Jimmy not being at work.  Kinda hard with the holidays coming up.  Doesn't leave much time for just the 4 of us.  : /  Don't get me wrong, I love the holidays!  Favorite time of the year.  Just want to soak up some time with just my guys before.

Caden has been really great with Ryder.  He asks to hold him all of the time.  Tonight while he was eating dinner, he wanted Ryder to sit on his tray.  LOL.  He even puts his stuffed animals in the baby swing while Ryder isn't in there.

*Random Fact: the cord stump fell off tonight.  That is just downright disgusting.  Also, Ryder made his first trip to Target tonight!

that about says it all.  a big yawn!

After I fold the laundry, I'm hitting the sack....hopefully.
