It's done...

I scheduled my anatomy ultrasound appointment!  I'm feeling very anxious and nervous now.  I'm guessing I probably won't be going to track that day since I will be really sad knowing that I'll never have a daughter.  I know some people can't even have one kid, so I should be happy that I at least can have kids, but to each his own.  Everyone has their own problems whether they are big or small, they are what they are to them.  And not having a daughter is a VERY big problem to me.  On the bright side, I will still get to reign as Evil Queen in the house.  Haha.

Boys are on Spring Break this week.  We have some fun plans lined up later in the week and the weather isn't too awful, so today I'm going to take them to a park to play outside with their cousin.  I got to run 2 miles this morning.  That was one of the roughest runs yet.  And it actually started out really well (which is not normal) but once I got into the development that I run in, the stroller would NOT cooperate.  It kept wanting to go left and with an extra 80 pounds in there, that was a bitch to deal with.  The tires weren't flat so I have no clue what the deal was.  Other than that and me trying to breathe for life I was good.  And I ran the whole thing in 20 minutes.  Not a good time, but I did it, so I'm proud of myself.

I can't believe that I'm 15 weeks today!  Definitely look pregnant too!  I think I felt the baby move a few times yesterday but it might have just been gas.  I need to try to remember to take a bump shot this week.  As for now, I'm going to go take out some playdough and clean the house while the nuggets destroy it some more.

12.4 weeks

Ok, I'm in my 2nd trimester!  And now it feels like this is going to take forever!  We got to see the baby on Tuesday.  Everything looks great, the blood work was really good as well.  It was (as always) SO cool to see the baby at the ultrasound!  I wish they let you take videos of it, because it's so cool to see the baby moving around.  The tech said this baby is an angel.  It was so cooperative and super chill.  When she would put the thing by it at a certain angle, it would arch its back.  I wish I could just lie there for hours and watch. This photo is kinda crappy, but it had the cutest profile- wish she could have taken a picture of that!

I wanna say that I'm starting to feel a little better, but I'm not.  I have no energy and with it being March 10th and 30º with snow on the ground- it's really hard to be in good spirits.  My back is killing me but it's from working out. And my thighs are getting huge!   But seriously, I just don't want to do anything- but I also don't want to do nothing.   It's so weird.  I feel like I'm too depressed or tired to do anything.  But I definitely don't want to just sit around.

I asked the doctor about taking the blood test to find out what the gender is.  And because I won't be 35 by the time of delivery, insurance won't cover the test.  I'm due 10 DAYS BEFORE my 35th birthday!  How dumb is that?!  So I have to wait until the end of April to find out.  Eh, that is only a month and a half away.  I can handle that.  I've lasted 3 months without knowing.  Not that I was able to do anything about it.  Ha.

Ok- I am going to go try to motivate myself to ride the bike and get going here.

Seriously, that boy will NOT leave us alone.  Maybe it's Middle Child senses working into place.  No joke, there isn't 5 minutes of silence from that kid throughout the day.  Well, except when he is at Preschool, which is only 2 days a week.  NOT ENOUGH.

I feel like I'm finally starting to show.  I also have eaten a lot so I could be bloated on top of that, but definitely look pregnant to me.  Or just really bloated.  The weather is freezing again, so I can't go outside to run.  :(  Well, I could but then I can't push Ryder in the stroller, because that is just cruel.

COME ON SPRING!!!!  I'M WAITING FOR YOU!!!

11 weeks on Monday

Well, I can't believe that I'll be 11 weeks on monday.  It feels like I have been pregnant forever (which is not good) but I also can't believe I'll be out of my first trimester soon.  I thought I would be bigger by now, too.  I'm not complaining but I just assumed I would be bigger a lot sooner since it's my 3rd baby.

Still feeling like crap.  Running and walking helps.  It's been so nice outside lately.  Yesterday was 76º and today is 13º, so there's that.  Glad I got out while I could!  Last night and throughout the day I kept having mild cramping.  I'm guessing it's just from my belly starting to grow.  Or the baby doesn't like me running 2 miles at a time.

Ryder has been really annoying lately.  He literally doesn't leave me alone.  I'm going crazy.  Caden wants me to play Legos with him today and I really just want to be left alone.....for ONE day.

Can't wait for my next appointment!  I get to see the baby!!

8 week ultrasound

10 weeks...

I threw up on Monday.  I'm pretty sure it's because I took my prenatal pills before breakfast.  Oops.  Yesterday, I worked out though and felt REALLY good.  Also, the sun was shining so I got to go on an hour long walk which felt amazing as well.  I've gained about 3 pounds.  I look bloated.  Honestly, that "bump" probably has NOTHING to do with me being pregnant.  It just looks like legit bloats-ma-goats.  I have an app that tells me what the size of the baby is.  When set to "fun & games" the baby is the size of a jack.

Belated Black Friday

I like tradition.  I also like to keep things fresh.  So even though I have been SUPER crazy in the past about getting ALL of my christmas decorations up the day after Thanksgiving, this year I had no choice but to embrace change.  We were in Gatlinburg for Black Friday, so we couldn't put up the decorations until we got back. I put the tree up and decorated most of it then realized that I really wanted a new tree.  So the next day we bought a new tree and I switched them out.  Ok, I'm still SUPER crazy.  But in the end, it was worth it.

The boys helped me and they also got to make their lists to Santa.











Gizmo, our elf, usually stops out for the first time on Black Friday as well. He did not travel to Gatlinburg though, so he visited us the day we got back!




And he brought us these amazing mini donuts & mini cinnabuns!!!
