The boys got big brother books and a toy each from their little brother.

And here we go... One Week old!

Sorry it's been awhile....

We had a baby!


Brody Scott was born September 20th @ 9:21am.    8 lbs 7 oz 21.5"   I tried to push for 5 minutes instead of 6 so he could be born at 9:20 on 9/20.  But it didn't happen.  HA.

The boys are great big brothers!  Just as I thought they would be.  So far, Brody has been a great baby!

Checkin Off That Summer Bucket List

Caden's 1st day of 1st Grade!

He was soooo tired that morning.  We struggled to get pictures.  But he was super excited to start school.  Not too happy that Ryder wasn't going to school yet.  He thinks school takes up too much time in a day.  I think an 8 hour break from kids is sufficient.  haha

Also lost his two bottom front teeth so in his pictures he likes to show that off.   Cracks me up!

He said he wants to be a doctor when he grows up.  I asked him to be more specific.  And his answer was "a real doctor"   Haha! 

Last Day at the Pool

We signed the boys up for swim lessons this summer.  They both did an amazing job and still have two more visits left!  Here is Caden showing off swimming on his back.  He knew I was taking a photo of him somehow and waved to me.  :)

I told them to jump in....it was more of a walk off into the pool but still they did it!

This little guy went from screaming bloody murder if you splashed him to going underwater without plugging his nose to get dive toys!  He has turned into quite the little fish.

Caden went from only "jumping" in if you caught him and it was almost right at the edge of the pool to jumping in while trying to throw a football at a cup across the pool.  No fear now!  Which is scary for me because now I really have to keep an eye on them.  They mainly swim in the deep end now.  

During their last swim lesson, Caden passed the Deep End Test without even knowing it.  I'm so proud of both of them!!  Now they can teach me how to not be afraid of something.

Well if this baby isn't cute, I at least have two SUPER cute kids at home!

Finally got my chance to take photos of the boys this summer!  And I'm so glad I did because holy crap my kids are adorable!  We were able to capture their best smiles when Jimmy made fart noises.  I had to take senior portraits after this sesh and he asked the boys if I should make fart noises for that session as well.  

My senior wanted an indoor shot as well, so I did practice photos on the boys.  Caden looks like he is 8 years old!  What the hell?

So I guess those pants don't fit anymore....

Can't wait to add the baby to these sessions

So....It's past the due date!

WHOA!  That 40 weeker is a big one!

I don't think that I have felt any contractions.  Just a little pressure yesterday on the due date.  The plan is that I get admitted to the hospital tonight, get induced and then tomorrow morning I'll have a baby!!!  Not gonna lie, I'm feeling really nervous about this one.  I don't know if it's because I already have two kids that I need to be there for or what.  But I'm freaking out a little that something bad is going to happen or I'm going to be in a lot of pain.  I'm not looking forward to the recovery either.  Luckily, I have a great support system!  My friend Jenna is up from Texas to help out and Kim is coming Wednesday for a visit!  

I'm afraid this baby is going to be over 10 pounds and it's freaking me out!!  

I'll just have to do it this way...

T-Ball

So we signed the boys up for T-ball.  Apparently they are a little more advanced than I had anticipated.  But I'm glad we signed them up anyway.  They both dive after every hit and are super competitive.  Gee, I wonder where they get that from.

Blossom Time 2017

The boys helped me get their wagon ready for Memorial Day by scrubbing it down!








We spent a LOT of time at blossom this year!  Rode all of the rides, even got to go on one of the big kid rides!  Took home 3 goldfish.  We are down to one at the moment!  Spent a lot of time with friends and family!  It was a lot of fun!

Caden did a lot of pouting for someone who got to have a blast this weekend.  That was probably one of the most annoying things ever.  And even though, we still continue to buy him a lot of stuff he asks for, he is still insistent on being a turd.  Then there is Ryder, the lover of life.  Ha
