1st Time in the Indoor Pool

We took Caden to our gym's indoor pool for his birthday.




He liked it!  Kept trying to eat the water.  Not drink, eat.















Look @ that hair!  It was cut the next day!

I think he looks like Christopher when he was little in this last picture.

He cried when we left. Haha!  Yay! He loved it!  We will definitely come back soon!

Growing up, I had a gloworm.  I STILL have it, too.  It's in Cade's room now. Well it's a new generation and now there is a glow seahorse! They also have gloworms but Caden was given the seahorse for a very important reason.

My cousin and his wife work for Fisher-Price.  They actually do the designing of toys!!!  Beth COMPLETELY designed this seahorse.  And I must say, she did a great job!  Caden loves it so much that he won't sleep without it now.

The first night I put it in his room (which was the 1st night he had ANYTHING in his crib to sleep with), I went in to check on him before I went to bed and this is what I saw!  It melted my heart!

Now every night I check on him I see him hugging his seahorse while sound asleep.




It seems as though the little man has developed an "I'm too cool" attitude.  Can ya blame him?  Look how cute he is doing it!

The rock.

That little man found that cool rock and held onto it all the way home.  When Jimmy put him on his shoulders, he held onto the rock.  When he passed out in his stroller and we got home and I went to take him out, the rock was still clenched in his tiny grasp.

I think I may keep that rock and put it in his box of keepsake things.



"Oops.  I dropped my rock.  No worries!  I got it!  *giggle*giggle*"

1st Real Visit to the Library

I know, I know.  He is almost one (at the time this picture was taken) and he has never run around the library.  Usually when I go, I run in and pick up my stuff and leave.  It was a beautiful day and we were walking through town & I had to stop at the library.  He seemed to have fun.  I look forward to the days when we will go pick out books to check-out.  :)
